Brian of BlogEngage.com interview on Famous Bloggers Club
FBC club had this wonderful interview with Brian the guy behind BlogEngage.com the social network for bloggers, Brian’s blog SEOMKT.COM has good tips about best ways to promote your site and increase organic traffic.
Q. Tell the world something about your self and what you do in life?
Brian: My name is Brian. I work in Marketing and Sales Full time. I’m a graduate of Business Administration Marketing. I can be found on Twitter @bbrian017 and many other social sites with the same name bbrian017. I started my online career in 2007 by launching a social networking website for bloggers named blogengage. A few months after starting up blogengage I decided I wanted to start my own blog. At this point I started a SEO and Marketing Blog found at www.seomkt.com
To this date I’ve been building solid blogging relationships and like many people I have messed a few up but no one is perfect. I try my best I’m stressed and work hard on my community.
Q. What was the story behind your Blog? (how you start Blogging – since when – how did you named your Blog).
Brian: I started SEOMKT.COM because I’ve always had an interest in Marketing and SEO is naturally a part of this process. I knew I would be able to blog about relative subject and at the same time enjoy it. So far it’s been a great success and I’m enjoying every minute of it.
Q. Have you earned any money from being a Blogger? (How you did it – add links to useful websites for making money online – If NOT then tell us why you blog)
Brian: I defiantly don’t blog for the money. I make little to nothing from my online ads. I guess it’s safe to say I’m still not covering all my bills. I enjoy blogging and meeting new friends online and for that reason I started blogging. I think this was another reason to what initially got me started on blogengage. I work full time to make money and I do that well so I’m not dependent from online income.
Q. Would you tell us about ONE of your famous posts?
Brian: I think to date my favorite post would be “Marketing Planning Process for Blogging”
Q. If I asked you to suggest ONE Blogger friend to send him/her a Famous Blogger Club invitation, who you will suggest?
Brian: Doug Dillard for MakeMoneyOnline He truly is a great guy with an amazing personal attitude. He has a positive attitude in life and enjoys helping others so much. If I was to suggest one blogger he would be my pick today.

Hello! .. My name is
Another great interview – I’m a big fan of Brian’s websites and very much hope he’ll suggest them for inclusion on “What A Website.org” before I get much older! Can definitely imagine a “Site Of The Day” box ( or two ) being filled with what he has created. Blog Engage is an amazing community – and Seomarkt full of incredibly useful information.
Not really quite sure how Brian manages to fit in a full-time job as well though – that’s a mystery to me !
Cheers,
Will

Brian I like what you done with both your blog and community. I think blogengage is pretty cool. I some day would really like to know the whole story behind that also as it seems like it must be a lot of work to do something like that.

@Jared P Little, Hi Jared, blogengage has been a blast. I’ve meet so many people it’s been an amazing experience and continues to be. Every morning I wake up to new people and an amazing community of bloggers from all over the world. It’s a unique feeling I cannot explain. To fully understand you would have to start your own site. Yes I’m busy I spend much time on the website but it’s worth every minute. I wouldn’t know anyone on this entire thread if it wasn’t for blogengage. I couldn’t imagine my blogging life without it.

I wrote my first guest post on BlogEngage a year ago after being asked by Brian. It was an honor
He is the type of person that never gives up and always try to find a way to improve his BlogEngage community
First time ever seeing what you look like, Brian

@Michael Aulia, how time just flies by huh Michael? It seems like it was just yesterday you wrote that review. We sure have come a long way together. I remember when you first started out or at least when we first meet. Your writing style and technique has grown and matured so much.
I’m happy you managed to do so well for yourself all this time.

Good getting to know you better Brian! I have a major in business too
.
I would love to know how you set up the share system for your blog – the share buttons people can add to their own websites to vote for articles. Did you code all of that yourself or outsource it?
Also, how do you make your living offline?
Talk soon!
