It’s wonderful to see that Famous Bloggers Club interviews are getting more exciting, specially when reading these interesting interviews from the club members. Interview of today is with Multimedia Designer and Consultant, James King, atmMultimedia.com, and this time it’s only text interview, but there is a special video interview from James to the Famous Bloggers Club.

Q. Tell the world something about your self and what you do in life?

James: I am full time web designer and I work for a company. So I have a full time job, my goal is to set up my own new media business and teach others about using new media to enhance their businesses. In my spare, I create websites, blog, do SEO, create videos and podcasts for my blog. Out of work hours I probably spend about 20 hours working on other projects. I am very focused that’ll succeed and work for me in the not too distant future.

I am passionate about communication so video and podcasting are my favorite choices.

Q. What was the story behind your Blog?

James: I have goals to succeed, I don’t like working for an employer, sorry but it’s not me. As a web designer, I need to make myself heard, there is a lot of competition in my area and local potential customers, will pay for the cheapest websites, and miss out on quality. I needed a vehicle to drive my success, with a few fellow Bloggers, my success is beginning to grow.

The purpose of the atmmultimedia blog was to educate others and build a stronger brand for my blog. In 2006, I knew I needed an online presence as a web designer. It is vital for me, to stay ahead for other web designers to have a fighting chance to survive and prosper.

Q. Have you earned any money from been a Blogger?

James: I have build some solid relationships with other Bloggers and word of mouth has allowed me to gain new clients. A good friend Nicolas Prudhon, has recommended my services some of his readers and I am very grateful for that.

The blog has built up relationships and has allowed me to do more business. Blogging is a must for anyone in business, because you can gain some new clients just by being seen as an expert.

The blog is generating leads and will generate money as time goes by.

Q. Would you tell us about ONE of your famous posts?

James: Famous posts for me, include interviews with Kikolani.com an excellent blog interview, she is a very successful Blogger and I am happy for her. Blog interviews are a great way to generate new content. As a Blogger, we all feel burnt out at times, especially me, with working 60 hours a week. However, if you can interview others and ask questions, it saves you generating new information and relieves a bit of the pressure from you as a Blogger. In addition, you are introducing other Bloggers into your community and making great relationships with Bloggers.

I list of websites, forums, plugins and other useful wordpress information that can improve your blog. I love creating lists there are one or 101 lists on my blog. A 101 list does get a lot of responses.

James: Well Nicolas Prudhon and Kristi Hines (Kikolani.com) are already here. It has to be David King. David and I are no relation. David King is from the United States has launched a successful Twitter course. It is an excellent video course, I’ve learned a lot from him in a very short space of time.

If you are in the United States, he has his own Live Short online. It is on a Tuesday 8PM EST. I’d love to tune in but for me it is 3AM as I am in the United Kingdom.

I strongly recommend David King, very passionate young man in his early twenties, and he is definitely going places.

Dan: My name is Dan Keller and I am from Philadelphia, PA.  I own an executive recruiting firm as well as several career related online properties.  Earlier this year I turned my attention to Internet marketing and trying to make money blogging and started TycoonBlogger.com, Follow me on Twitter @tycoonblogger.

Dan: Before I started Tycoon Blogger, I started several other blogs, these were blogs that were built to support my online businesses.  After I learned the ropes, I decided I wanted to get serious and make a blog about blogging and MMO and spent weeks searching for a brandable domain name.  I found Tycoon Blogger and the rest is history.

Dan: I have been making money from several different avenues so far.  I have started selling banner ads directly.  I have written several sponsored posts.  I have received several freelance writing assignments as a direct result of my blog and off course, I use AdSense.

Q. Would you tell us about ONE of your famous posts? (Why you think it’s famous.. it could be because of “content – traffic – comments – search engines”)

Dan: I wrote a post about the “Top Ten Bloggers-the new list” that included who I thought the best Bloggers were. I intentionally left off ShoeMoney and John Chow, as I am not overly impressed with their blogs. Don’t get me wrong, I am very impressed at their accomplishments and fame, but when I read their blogs I am left wondering what is special about them.
I think this post is famous because people get sick of reading the same old stuff all the time. Plus, everyone loves top 10 lists, right?

Q. If I asked you to suggest ONE Blogger friend to send him/her a Famous Blogger Club invitation, who you will suggest?

Dan: I was reading the comments and I see that Extreme John is already in the loop.

I think his blog is the most entertaining.  With that being said, I would recommend Brian from BlogEngage.com, he has a great blog at seo marketing promotion seomkt.com that is chock full of blog marketing tips.

I had this interview with Layla the founder of Coupon Journey, She is new to the Blogging world but she is doing great job on provide the best deals and steals using coupon, I want to tell Layla that if her blog is not famous now then I think it will be famous after we end with the 100 members of FBC Famous Bloggers Club!

Layla: I am a newbie Blogger, and currently completing a Masters degree online. I can be found on Twitter: @couponjourney, or Facebook: Coupon Journey. I am a 30 year old married woman with no kids trying to survive the blog sphere and provide the best deals and steals using coupons!

Q. What was the story behind your Blog? (how you start Blogging – since when
– how did you named your Blog).

Layla: I started Blogging in April 2009. I started because I was layed off from a job, and still unemployed as of July 2009, and it was a great stress relief. I had to start using coupons to save money, and didn’t realize I could buy items for free, and wanted to share that with other people. I know others do not have time to clip coupons, but most of what I post, you just need a printer to print the coupons! I called it Coupon Journey, because literally, it is a journey to find the best deals around. I chronicle my savings on my site, under the My Journeys tab, in an effort to motivate others to do the same.

Q. Have you earned any money from been a Blogger? (How you did it – add links to useful websites for making money online – If NOT then tell us why you blog)

Layla: I have added some links to my site, but do not make a lot of money from them.They are there are resources for the coupons that I post or free samples Some of the links include those to www.cj.com, mysavings.com, escalatenetwork.com. As I stated previously, I blog primarily for therapeutic reasons. It helps me share my finds and deals so that others can save money. I want to make sure that no one ever pays any money for toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, shavers, or gel, as I have not paid any money for those necessities since April 2009. Key word, necessity, so there is no reason to pay any money for that!

I am especially proud of this post, because it shows that you can thank the companies that make the products you love. I received private messages on the posting, as well as being featured on 2 different blogs/websites as full articles.

Hands down, Ann over at Coupons Deals and More couponsdealsandmore.com. She has a massive following, and has been in the coupon industry for years. She posts some really great blog posts about how to save money.

Brian D. Hawkins is one of the earlier Bloggers Friends of mine, and a good commenter on my personal blog Zebida World, I was impressed by his posts on the Extreme Ezine the electronic newsletter that normally delivered directly to my inbox, there is so many tips, suggestions, resources, contests, the occasional free download, quotes and even jokes that you can enjoy. So.. let’s see what Brian will say about Extreme Ezine in out interview together.

Q. Tell the world something about your self and what you do in life?

Brian: Well, I live in Michigan (USA) with my wife of 26 years. We have four children, all grown, and three and a half grandchildren. I drive a truck locally and spend far too much time online building sites and connecting with friends. We just bought a ranch style home outside of town that is both mine and my wife’s dream home. We feel very fortunate at this stage of our lives and are very happy.

Q. What was the story behind your Blog? (how you start Blogging – since when – how did you named your Blog).

Brian: It wasn’t that long ago when I asked a friend of mine, what’s a blog? I had a couple sites, forums, safe lists and ad boards and I wanted to see what the blog thing was about. A few minutes on Google and I quickly found my new passion.

Brian: My main blog, Extreme Ezine, was a spin off from an earlier blog (began as an HTML site) on site promotions. I had started a newsletter called Extreme Ezine and I eventually gave it it’s own URL. The site quickly took off and earned a page rank of 5 with Google. My list grew in the thousands before I realized it was very unresponsive and basically useless. Time for a change. When I switched to blog format the traffic disappeared and the page rank dropped but it became a lot more fun to run. No regrets, the list is cleaner and the blog is active when
I find the time to post and promote.

Q. Have you earned any money from been a Blogger? (How you did it – add links to useful websites for making money online – If NOT then tell us why you blog)

Brian: Most of the online money I make comes from other sources. My ad tracking membership site earns the most and more than covers any expenses including my dedicated server, home and mobile internet access and various promotions.

I do earn a little from Blogging but it’s a slow process and truthfully I don’t try that hard. At Blogging for money that is. I have a philosophy that one needs to build a loyal following and steady traffic before tossing in a bunch of ads. I am not there yet. I also need to personally believe in a product before pushing it on my blogs. I feel those that visit and comment on my blog are friends and I don’t want to deceive them to make a little money.

As a marketer I love to promote online but I take Blogging a little more personally – just a little.

Q. Would you tell us about ONE of your famous posts? (Why you think it’s famous.. it could be because of “content – traffic – comments – search engines”)

Brian: It’s funny, the posts I’ve been most proud of didn’t seem to impress very many people. I tend to go too long in my writing and that could be the problem. As for the most famous I guess I would have to go with Ten Steps To A Responsive Email List because it started a nice conversation. Only 42 comments so far but they are quality comments interacting with each other. To me, it’s the comments that make a blog post great.

Q. If I asked you to suggest ONE Blogger friend to send him/her a Famous Blogger Club invitation, who you will suggest?

Brian: Only one? Most of my Blogger friends are much more famous; than I am. I just now realized that. Dozens of Bloggers come to mind instantly but I’m going to recommend my good friend Yan from ThouShallBlog.com because he has always taken the time to help others – including myself on many occasions.

Kristi: The name Kikolani is a combination of my middle name (Leilani) and my grandmother’s first name (Akiko).  It started as a platform to share my Blogging and photography, and grew into sharing more technical information, such as Blogging tips and social media how to’s.

Kristi: I haven’t earned significant money directly from blog, but what I have earned is money from all of the skills I have picked up as a result of running a blog.   Now I have experience with WordPress customization, link building, website optimization and social media marketing which I can offer as freelance services to small businesses.  So indirectly, I have been able to make money as a Blogger. But aside from the income, I simply enjoy writing and sharing information with others.

Kristi: I consider my Fetching Friday posts to be most famous on my site, simply because I have had numerous readers specifically comment that they love reading those posts every Friday.  I feel like they always include resources that will benefit any reader who stumbles upon the site.

Q. What was the story behind your Blog? (how you start Blogging – since when – how did you named your Blog).

Francisco: I always have had this thing about helping people. I guess it has something to do with my past. I was very lucky to find mentors whom where always there for me. I figured, the best way to share and learn something is through a blog. I started just about a year ago and one of the most difficult tasks was what topic to choose. I came up with (business online), which was easier because it is broad and you talk about almost anything. Naming my blog was also complicated, I wanted something more related but everything was taken at that time, so I just kept on trying. Nothing special about the name.

Q. Have you earned any money from been a Blogger? (How you did it – add links to useful websites for making money online – If NOT then tell us why you blog)

Francisco: YES. I earn money online from several sources. AdSense has been good, LinkWorth, ProjectWonderful, Google’s Affiliate Network, just to name a few. It is possible to make money online, however, determination, patience and most importantly, credibility are requirements one need to have. Without those, you will probably make money, but in the long run, it will be difficult to succeed. I will not recommend any specific sites, as there are many ways to make money online. The important part are the techniques you use to get noticed, gain credibility and reputation. Of course, I can definitely recommend my blog as a good source for learning your ways to doing Business Online:)

Q. Would you tell us about ONE of your famous posts? (Why you think it’s famous.. it could be because of “content – traffic – comments – search engines”)

Francisco: I do not have any specific post that I can crown as being famous. However, most of the time, I notice that posts related to PageRank, AdSense and SEO tends to generate more traffic and comments. There is a series that I called “Blogging For Money – The Reverse Order”, which I can always say is pretty famous, due to being the articles that generated most impact in the beginning of my blogging journey.

This is another exciting interview I had with Peter P. the founder of WassupBlog, Peter write about Blogging Tips and Tricks, Blogging for Money, SEO and much more, I like his slogan which is Blogging for Fame and Glory.

Q. Tell the world something about your self and what you do in life?

Peter: Well, there is not all that much to tell. I’m and Australian father of two who found out that it was much more satisfying to work for yourself than for a boss. Originally I was going to become a teacher but one semester before finishing my course I found my heart wasn’t in it and so I left. I then went to work for a supermarket chain for a few years before buying a deli with my brother. After seven years I became a salesman but decided that working for the boss again wasn’t the way to go and so we bought a wholesale business and have been self employed ever since.

What was the story behind your Blog?

Peter: I started my first Blog because I read somewhere that Google liked websites that were continually being updated. It wasn’t too long before I discovered that blogs were a good way to earn a little cash and so I started a few more, but now the money is secondary and I blog more for the enjoyment of Blogging than anything else.

Q. Have you earned any money from been a Blogger?

Peter: Yes, I have made a bit of money via my blogs, some from AdSense and promoting several affiliates, but most of the cash came from doing paid posts. There are many sites that will pay Bloggers to do reviews, some of which I mentioned in my Joining The Crazy Blogging For Money Train post.

Q. Would you tell us about ONE of your famous posts?

Peter: That’s a very interesting question as one has to define what factor constitutes making a post famous. I reckon that perhaps popularity might be regarded as making a post popular and if we were to use that as the underlying factor I reckon Thesis Theme Is Just Not Flexible Enough would fit the bill as it has 130 comments and over 1280 page views. The post was a comparison between Flexsqueeze and Thesis and described why I thought that Thesis was not all that people made it out to be.

Q. If I asked you to suggest ONE Blogger friend to send him/her a Famous Blogger  Club invitation, who you will suggest?

Peter: Now that is an easy one, something I don’t even have to think about it. I would say without a doubt that Mitch of I’m Just Sharing fame is my favourite blogger. His posts are always interesting, but there is just one thing that I find to be infuriating, that to date I’ve not been able to find a grammatical error in any of his posts.

Q. Tell the world something about your self and what you do in life?

George: Well, my name is George Serradinho and I was born and raised in the beautiful country of South Africa. I come from a family of six with 2 brothers and only one sister, thank God for that J I currently work in the IT department for a huge telecommunications company as a contractor and just love it. @gfserradinho, LinkedIn

Q. What was the story behind your Blog?

George: The domain Serradinho.com has been registered since January 2006, but I only started blogging in August of 2007.

As some of you might know, my domain name Serradinho.com, is actually my surname. When I initially started my blog, it was to be for personal blogging whereby I could express my thoughts and opinions like millions of others on the net.

As my blog has evolved over time, I have branched out to try and help others as much as possible by supplying tips and tricks on different topics, but still posting on personal experiences.

I also wanted to give something back to the internet community, so I created a free pixel website whereby users can add an image and link to their website or product at no charge. The site can be found at Serradinho Free Pixels, go ahead and get your pixels today!

Q. Have you earned any money from been a Blogger? (How you did it)

George: I have not earned thousands like many other bloggers, but my earnings have been increasing over time and I’m very happy with the results. Bloggers need to try out many programs until they find what works for them.

There are:

• I recently moved over to Thesis theme and have been promoting it like crazy. There are so many customizations which one could do and it’s simple.
• Google adsense which is very simple to use and install on one’s website.
• Direct advertising on my site. I created a simple page on my site whereby one can purchase the desired ad directly from me like a blogroll link, text link, banners, reviews, etc.

Q. Would you tell us about ONE of your famous posts? (Why you think it’s famous)

George: I don’t really have any famous post, but I would rather like to tell you about one of my pages on Serradinho.com that is fast becoming a great hit.

This page is my way of saying thanks to all those who have inspired or helped me along the way, it’s also a way for me giving to give back to the community. My Downloads page has hundreds and hundreds of free downloads ranging from ebooks, PLR articles, images and graphics and then Wordpress. As of answering these questions, my total download hits are standing at over 55,000 and still rises every day.
