Greg Ellison Interview on Famous Bloggers Club
FBC got this Greg Ellison, He have a good blog and run a bunch of different websites, Greg likes to do website design, computer support, network administration, and server administration. Get to know Greg more from this interview!
Q. Tell the world something about your self and what you do in life?
Greg: I live in Syracuse, NY where I have lived my whole life. I went to College at a place called Morrisville State College for my BS in Network Administration. It is a college in the middle of nowhere but they are more known for the cow and horse programs. They are the most wired college. I work at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, NY as a Network Engineer during the day and blog at night.
Q. What was the story behind your Blog?
Greg: I put a WordPress blog on a subdomain in 2005 but didn’t really post anything until 2008. In 2008 I started posting about my personal life every day. I average around 1300 visitors a month. My blog is www.gregellison.net which is my name. I couldn’t get the .com version of my name because someone else already had it.
Q. Have you earned any money from been a Blogger?
Greg: I have done paid postings, Google AdSense, adbrit, Kontera, and bunch of others. In my income reports I only use two sources to make my money. They are Google AdSense and Payu2blog. I make enough to pay for my Aweber account which is ok with me for now. One of these days I will make a lot of money. I need to learn and do before I can grow to be successful. I also need to diversify my income into other sources instead of just two of them.
I blog because it is an out let for me and I can talk about anything I want to.
Q. Would you tell us about ONE of your famous posts?
Greg: I think the biggest post I have ever had is How to make a Bart PE ghost 8 CD. The second largest post is a post about a dell laptop that I worked on for my friend. People want to learn about these two subjects and I rank high for these two things.
Q. If I asked you to suggest ONE Blogger friend to send him/her a Famous Blogger Club invitation, who you will suggest?
Greg: The one blogger that I would suggest is Deneil Merritt from deneilmerritt.com. His blog has a lot of great information in it.
