Interview with Extreme John Famous Bloggers Club
All of us knows Extreme John as an active guy and great commenter, and personally I appreciate that he joined Famous Bloggers Club blog, and making this great interview true, ExtremeJohn blog is basically about Everything you would like to know about Blogging, Business, Twitter, Rants, MMA, and his life.!
Q. Tell the world something about your self and what you do in life?
John: Ahhh what does Extreme John do? Let’s see how incredibly juicy I can make this! Ok. nothing really juicy at all, just your basic over charged energetic and extremely over opinionated Blogging CEO. I have my hands in a lot of projects, and given another 24hrs in a day I would probably have my hands in even more projects.

On the web I have a portfolio of around 500 domains, most of which are not active, I have 200 other domains that I sold a little over a year ago. My active domains include some personal blogs like my main blog, Extreme John.com I also have blogs for my business’s which are Insane Limos and Extreme Tan and Smoothies, once I tried the blog format on Extreme John I had to have my business sites in blog format. In addition to the business and personal blogs I also have a few “hobby blogs” for my English Bulldogs and of course my love of mixed martial arts (MMA Punk.com).
Q. What was the story behind your Blog? (how you start Blogging – since when – how did you named your Blog).
John: You know I never really thought of the story behind my blog most likely because I never really thought anyone besides some family and friends were looking at it. I guess that becomes the story in it’s own right, now it’s a complete addiction and something I can easily spend 18hrs a day doing.
Q. Have you earned any money from been a Blogger? (How you did it – add links to useful websites for making money online – If NOT then tell us why you blog)
John: I really have no “typical” forms of advertising on my blog, I don’t currently sell ad spots or market with Google AdSense or anything like that. I do on the other hand post specials that we are offering at our indoor tanning salons or in our limousine business. Thanks to my blog we have obtained a tremendous amount of exposure and new clientele for the tanning business and more than enough limousine bookings have come through my blog to make it worth it. I really do keep the marketing of my own personal business stuff to a somewhat low level, typically only advertising either one of the business’s once a week. I have been known to write 20 articles a week, so having one business post doesn’t become overbearing to my readers.
Q. Would you tell us about ONE of your famous posts? (Why you think it’s famous.. it could be because of “content – traffic – comments – search engines”)
John: Wow that is a unique question, I don’t really have any posts that I consider famous, chances are I have about 100 that I would love to be famous. I will leave avoiding questions to politicians and get down to it, my most “famous” post if I had to name one would have been my rant about Chris Brown beating down Rhianna, over 30,000 people visited that post in a about a two week period.
Q. If I asked you to suggest ONE Blogger friend to send him/her a Famous Blogger Club invitation, who you will suggest?
I would have to go with John Sullivan of Pot Politics, he’s my boy and that dude knows his stuff without throwing in all the foofy stuff that makes me sick.

I am sure that your blog worth, You are making the idea of promoting your biz for real!
I was wondering why bloggers give-up Google AdSense after some time of blogging and building their blog’s traffic, and at the point of making money from Google AdSense they decide to remove the ads!
I see now that this is because they simply learned enough to earn more with out the ads!
I think the limo has something to do with that -:)
