Interview with Francisco Perez founder of iBlogZone – Famous Bloggers Club

I had this wonderful interview with Francisco Perez the founder of iBlogZone www.iblogzone.com, Francisco’s blog will definitely help you achieve online success on Internet marketing, Blogging, SEO, making money online, and anything else to improve your digital life, such as open source, portable apps, etc. so enjoy reading this interview with him.

Q. Tell the world something about your self and what you do in life? (add Twitter and Facebook profile link if available)

Francisco: Hi. My real name is Francisco Perez (aka DiTesco). Father of two, I was born in the Philippines, raised in Brazil, lived in Wilmington,DE, and now reside in Portugal. Had my share of travel (primarily on business) and have been in Portugal for a long time now. I am fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish and a little bit of French too:)

I have a degree in Business Administration (from Brazil) and have been a management consultant for the past five years. My offline curriculum includes: Senior Auditor of PriceWaterhouseCoopers (Brazil); Regional Internal Auditor of AIG – American International Group (Latin American Division – New York USA); Worldwide Internal Control Manager of ALICO (American Life Insurance Company – Wilmington Delaware, USA); Chief Operating Officer of ALICO (Portugal); Director of Finance and Administration of Banesto (Banking – Portugal); General Manager of Sensormatic (Anti-Theft Devices – Portugal). I presently continue to manage my own company of Business and Management Consulting.

Twitter: @ditesco , Facebook.

Q. What was the story behind your Blog? (how you start Blogging – since when – how did you named your Blog).

Francisco: I always have had this thing about helping people. I guess it has something to do with my past. I was very lucky to find mentors whom where always there for me. I figured, the best way to share and learn something is through a blog. I started just about a year ago and one of the most difficult tasks was what topic to choose. I came up with (business online), which was easier because it is broad and you talk about almost anything. Naming my blog was also complicated, I wanted something more related but everything was taken at that time, so I just kept on trying. Nothing special about the name.

Q. Have you earned any money from been a Blogger? (How you did it – add links to useful websites for making money online – If NOT then tell us why you blog)

Francisco: YES. I earn money online from several sources. AdSense has been good, LinkWorth, ProjectWonderful, Google’s Affiliate Network, just to name a few. It is possible to make money online, however, determination, patience and most importantly, credibility are requirements one need to have. Without those, you will probably make money, but in the long run, it will be difficult to succeed. I will not recommend any specific sites, as there are many ways to make money online. The important part are the techniques you use to get noticed, gain credibility and reputation. Of course, I can definitely recommend my blog as a good source for learning your ways to doing Business Online:)

Q. Would you tell us about ONE of your famous posts? (Why you think it’s famous.. it could be because of “content – traffic – comments – search engines”)

Francisco: I do not have any specific post that I can crown as being famous. However, most of the time, I notice that posts related to PageRank, AdSense and SEO tends to generate more traffic and comments. There is a series that I called “Blogging For Money – The Reverse Order”, which I can always say is pretty famous, due to being the articles that generated most impact in the beginning of my blogging journey.

Q. If I asked you to suggest ONE Blogger friend to send him/her a Famous Blogger Club invitation, who you will suggest?

Francisco: If I may, I would like to suggest three: Jan Geronimo of Writing to Exhale , Nicolas Prudhon of SEO Help and Aswani of Future Perfect.

Hesham: Thank you Francisco for the great interview and welcome to the Famous Bloggers Club!

  6. Hello Hesham. Thank you very much for featuring my interview in your “100 Famous Club”. I still am shocked and quite flattered that I made it:)

Anyway, great initiative and keep up the good work. Maybe after you have all the “members” of this club organized, we can set up a “mini network” in order to leverage from everyone’s participation. You can set up some minor rules that will benefit us all. An example can be that all members should at least visit everyone’s site once a week, leave a meaningful comment, etc..
