Interview with Mitch M. Founder of I’m Just Sharing – Famous Bloggers Club

I had this interesting interview with Mitch Mitchell the founder of I’m Just Sharing, Mitch share  his thoughts on internet marketing, writing, Blogging and many other things. You never know what he’ll be posting on. So.. let’s enjoy this interview with him.

Q. Tell the world something about your self and what you do in life?

I have a lot of careers, so I’m kept busy, if not quite hitting my financial stride towards being rich just yet.  First, I’m a health care finance consultant, which means I help hospitals find missing revenue or teach them how to collect on outstanding claims.  I also do leadership/management, diversity, and employee relations training and seminars.  Second, I am an internet marketing consultant for small businesses, where I teach them how to make their websites more effective.  Third, I’m a writer, and on that front I’ve been really busy.  I’ve written one book called Embrace The Lead, and an ebook called Using Your Website As A Marketing Tool.  I write two newsletters for my business, three newsletters for other organizations, three blogs (http://www.ttmitchellconsulting.com/Mitchblog, http://www.imjustsharing.com, http://www.topfinanceblog.com), 5 websites, and I’ve become a professional writer of articles and blogs for others as well.  And finally, I’m a professional speaker and presenter, including my latest webinar titled Social Media, SEO & Your Business in 90 minutes.

I’m also on Twitter @Mitch_M and Facebook.

Q. What was the story behind your Blog? (how you start Blogging – since when – how did you named your Blog).

I started Blogging early in 2005 with my business blog.  I wanted to do it to help show my expertise in my many business areas.  I named it Mitch’s Blog because, well, I’m Mitch.  In December 2007, I decided to start a second blog, and I called it I’m Just Sharing because I wanted to be able to talk about whatever I wanted to talk about and share my thoughts on it all.  I bought my third blog, Top Finance Blog, from someone who had just started it and decided he wanted to do other things in November 2008.

Q. Have you earned any money from been a Blogger? (How you did it – add links to useful websites for making money online – If NOT then tell us why you blog)

Actually, I can’t honestly say I’ve made a lot of money from Blogging.  However, I have gotten some speaking engagements because of things I’ve written about on my business blog, and I do earn some money here and there from AdSense ads.  I blog because I have things I want to share, although I’ll admit that my finance blog is supposed to be the one niche blog I’ve created where I’m hoping it’ll make money one of these days.

Q. Would you tell us about ONE of your famous posts? (Why you think it’s famous.. it could be because of “content – traffic – comments – search engines”)

This won’t mean a lot to most people, but my most visited and commented on post of all time involves this thing the federal government is doing regarding audits on hospitals around the United States.  I wrote a general commentary on the process back in March of 2008, and though it took about a month to get my first comment, things took off from there.  These audits have touched a nerve among the nervous and angry people at hospitals across the country, and I haven’t found one person who didn’t agree with my assessment of it all, although some have asked me further questions regarding it.

Q. If I asked you to suggest ONE Blogger friend to send him/her a Famous Blogger Club invitation, who you will suggest?

A guy you really need to talk to is Yan Susanto of Thou Shall Blog.  He’s the guy I’m chasing as far as blog popularity goes.  :-)
