Interviewing Rose DesRochers of Blogger Talk on Famous Bloggers
Hello everybody, today’s interview is with Rose DesRochers, she is a poet, freelance, Rose writes on a variety of topics including odd news, technology, internet safety, child exploitation, blogging, and life in general, enjoy this interview with her and don’t forget to visit her websites.
Tell the world something about yourself and what you do in life?
Rose DesRochers: I have been told that I wear many hats. I’m a wife, mother, respite worker, proud shih-tzu owner, blogger, published poet, freelance writer, as well as the owner and administrator of todayswriting.com and bloggertalk.net.

What is the story behind your Blog? How did you start Blogging – and how did you come up with the name for your blog?
Rose DesRochers: Which one? I actually have four blogs that I maintain. I first started blogging on Blogger. In April of 2006, I moved my Blogger blog to self hosted Wordpress. At this time I change the name to Rose DesRochers- World Outside my Window. I thought the name was fitting as I cover controversial topics as well as personal family life.
In Feb of 2008, I took over my Daughter’s Blog Mspink.net and turned it into a pink blog where I blog about pink gadgets, pink fashion, pink novelty items and everything else pink.
I also have a writing blog at rose-desrochers.net and my dogs have a blog at rosedesrochers.net.
Have you earned any money from Blogging?
Rose DesRochers: I have only recently added Google AdSense to my blog, but I have made some money from it. I’ve also made some money from Amazons affiliate program. In addition, I’ve done a few products reviews where I have received free products and I’ve received a few donations from my readership.
Tell us about a popular post?
Rose DesRochers: My most popular post would be my “Princeton Premier post” The post received so much feedback that I had to close comments on the post and create a new post for people to comment on.
If I asked you to suggest one Blogger friend to send him/her a Famous Blogger Club invitation, who would you suggest?
Rose DesRochers: If I had to pick one blogger I’d recommend China Ya of wchingya.com. Her blog has really come a long way. She’s a dedicated blogger and a social butterfly. She says that she is no expert on social networking, but I disagree. She’s also the moderator of Bloggertalk.net
