Interview of today is with a very nice guy who loves computers, Jake aka Jeff of My Life as I see It blog is on FBC100’s interviews! So let’s enjoy his blog story and have a look to his world!
Q. Tell the world something about your self and what you do in life?
Jake: My name is Jake aka Jeff. I’m a radio technician and live in a little town called Mt. Airy, NC or “Mayberry” which was made famous by Andy Griffith who was born here in Mt. Airy. Other than my day job, I LOVE computers and using the Internet to make money, and playing golf! I’m engaged to be married to the most wonderful woman in the world! I’m also a dad and a papa!

Q. What was the story behind your Blog? (how you start Blogging – since when – how did you named your Blog).
Jake: My blog, JakeCpuNut.com “My Life as I See It” was started in August of 2008. To make a long story short, in early 2008, I wanted to buy my girlfriend a diamond ring and I was looking for ways to bring in some extra cash to pay for it. After going through a divorce a couple of years earlier, I didn’t have the funds to buy her the ring I wanted her to have. In March of 2008, I began my venture into Internet Marketing and towards the end of that year, in August, I decided to start my blog to share my life with the world… hence the name “My Life as I See It”. The name of my blog usually confuses people. Well not so much the name “My Life as I See It”, but the url JakeCpuNut. Q. Have you earned any money from been a Blogger? (How you did it – add links to useful websites for making money online – If NOT then tell us why you blog)
Jake: YES! As I mentioned in the last question, my entire Internet Marketing experience came about because I wanted to by my girlfriend (now fiancé’) a special diamond ring. I thought if I could make a few bucks a month to help pay for it, that would be GREAT! Well… here I am 1 and ½ years later and it’s been more than I ever dreamed! I’ve always loved computers and technology and being able to use that to make money online has been a dream come true! Other than my personal blog JakeCpuNut.com, I make most of my income with niche stores as an Ebay Affiliate. The tools I use are listed on my site and can be viewed here:
Q. Would you tell us about ONE of your famous posts? (Why you think it’s famous.. it could be because of “content – traffic – comments – search engines”)
Jake: To be honest… I’ve never looked back at my posts to see which had the most comments until I read this question. And also to be honest, it doesn’t really matter to me. My blog JakeCpuNut.com, is just a place for me to talk about my life, whether it be what happened to me today, or sharing what tools I use to make money online. I never try and get traffic for my personal blog, I just let it fall as it may and whatever happens, then so be it. I guess if I had to nail something down as my favorite.. it would have to be a category and not a post. I have a category called “Our Special Times” which is where I share all the special times in my life, most of which are related to my fiancé and me.
