Peter Lee of Work from Home Business Blog interview at FBC Club
After pronouncing the first contest on Famous Bloggers Club, I am going to continue publishing interview with members of the club. Enjoy this interview with Peter Lee of Work from Home Business Blog, he is a banker and doing a part time home business.
Q. Tell the world something about your self and what you do in life?
Peter: I am a full time banker doing a part time home business. I joined a MLM company some years back but found giving presentations, selling physical products to groups or individuals difficult to sustain my interest and quitted after 6 months. I joined PIPS (Plug-In Profit Site) 2 years ago confirming yet again a deep desire to leave my own comfort zone to venture into some business. Each one of us has his or her own reasons for starting a business but it’s usually driven by a common passion, no one outside this blogosphere could ever imagine existed.

Q. What was the story behind your Blog? (how you start Blogging – since when – how did you named your Blog).
Peter: I didn’t immediately start blogging when I started business. I heard about personal blogging then but knew nothing about business blogging when I first started my online home business. I started my first blog 3 months after I joined PIPS and I focused on blog commenting with the objective of getting backlinks, page rank for my homepage and blog. To be honest I didn’t give it much thought of what blog name was good. I simply called it ‘Work From Home Business Blog’ as it seemed to relate to what I was doing.
Q. Have you earned any money from been a Blogger? (How you did it – add links to useful websites for making money online – If NOT then tell us why you blog)
Peter: Yes I have but I would say my regular income comes from a blogging service that I provide to a big time Internet Marketer although lately I’ve begun earning some money from my AdSense sites quite consistently. I do have many other income streams but mostly affiliate programs but they are not that fantastic so I treat them as a bonus when they come.
Q. Would you tell us about ONE of your famous posts? (Why you think it’s famous. it could be because of “content – traffic – comments – search engines”)
Peter: One of my famous posts is How Blog Commenting Got Me 1200 Backlinks in 5 Days.
I think this post is popular with many bloggers because it can relate very well with almost everyone. After all, blog commenting and backlink building are what most of us do for our business. It also helps that the title makes people curious and want to know how this can be done.
I don’t do as much blog commenting as before preferring to focus more on getting high PR6-9 quality links in my new found backlink building program which I have achieved excellent results.
Q. If I asked you to suggest ONE Blogger friend to send him/her a Famous Blogger Club invitation, who you will suggest?
Peter: I have made many friends in the blogosphere, in fact lots more than the offline world and I find the virtual world is becoming more real than ever before. I would suggest a good friend of mine, Luis Torres from marketing-business-review.com

Hello! .. My name is
I am quite new to blogging, though i have already read hundreds of articles on blogging. They all seem to emphasize on the usefulness of blogging as a business tool especially back linking. One fact that still remains useful is the NO SPAM rule. As such I have taken posting to blogs religiously and i have started seeing the results, which I must say are quite impressive after only 2 months of having my own blog

Interesting interview. Good to learn that you can have regular income from blogging and that adsense is not dead.

Hi Shabnam,
Google Adsense is definitely not dead. In fact there are many bloggers who do solely MFA sites to make money although personally I think it’s better to diversify. You don’t want to put all your eggs in one basket.
Thanks Hisham for this interview and the opportunity to be featured on your great blog.
