Stefan Nilsson of Ducedo.com on Famous Bloggers Interviews
Interview of today is with Stefan Nilsson who decided to work full-time with his sites. Today, he is running several sites within different niches and under the last couple of months he has been working with e-commerce websites. Q. Tell the world something about yourself and what you do in life?
Stefan: My name is Stefan Nilsson. I’m born and raised in Sweden even though it is dark and we have bad weather 9 months a year. It makes you wonder why your ancestors never left the country to seek the sun in France and Spain. I’m self employed, making money through small niche sites, affiliate marketing and search engine marketing.

Q. What was the story behind your Blog? (how you start Blogging – since when – how did you named your Blog).
Stefan: The story behind my current blog is not in any way unique. I got a tired of writing in Swedish and got the idea to create a blog about my true passion, making money. My main goal is to be unique by actually showing case studies on sites I make money with and hopefully try to kill some bad myths which, to be honest, haven’t worked for several years. On the plus side I also get the chance to help out other bloggers who are trying to get their voice heard and make money through their blog.
What about my name then. Well, comparing to finding a .COM-domain, a .SE-domain is a walk in the park. I couldn’t come up with a good domain and I ended up looking for Latin words. Finally I decided for dulcedo, which was taken, so I had to remove one letter and went with ducedo.
Q. Have you earned any money from been a Blogger? (How you did it – add links to useful websites for making money.
Stefan: My MMO-career started out when I created a forum for several years ago. The money I earned was enough to break even and financing a few other projects I created back then. When time went by I gave up the idea of creating unique services and started to create small niche sites which turned out to be a great investment for me.
Today I make enough on them to manage without having to constantly be looking for new clients, even though it is fun to sometimes break the pattern and create a website for someone else.
Q. Would you tell us about ONE of your famous posts? (Why you think it’s famous.. it could be because of “content – traffic – comments – search engines”)
Stefan: As I mentioned above I’m still new to the English market and I have only been running my current blog for about 3 months. With that said Google Analytics says one of the most popular is my post explaining how to get free content. The reason to why it’s popular is simply because it works. Thanks to this method you can put you all of your energy on building backlinks and attracting new visitors while the blog runs itself.
Q. If I asked you to suggest ONE Blogger friend to send him/her a Famous Blogger Club invitation, who you will suggest?
Stefan: It’s difficult since there are so many great bloggers out there. If I had to go with just one, I would say Nicholas Z. Cardot over at Site Sketch 101. He came from nowhere and now delivers high quality posts several times a week.
